Our herd is built around Angus genetics — known for their hardiness, feed efficiency, and quality beef — alongside a selection of mixed-breed cattle that thrive in the Texas climate.
Angus
The backbone of our operation. Angus cattle are well-suited to the Texas heat, easy to manage, and consistently produce quality offspring. We select for disposition, structure, and performance.
Mixed Breeds
Our mixed-breed cattle bring hybrid vigor and adaptability to the herd. Bred for the conditions of Walker County, these animals are tough, productive, and well-cared-for from day one.
Animal care
How we raise them
Simple, consistent, and done right. Our cattle management practices are built on decades of experience and a genuine respect for the animals in our care.
Open pasture grazing
Our cattle have room to roam on well-managed pastures. We rotate grazing to keep the land healthy and the herd well-fed year-round.
Clean water, always
Fresh, clean water is available to every animal at all times. We maintain our water sources carefully — it's one of the most important things we do.
Low-stress handling
Calm cattle are healthy cattle. We handle our herd with patience and consistency, which shows in their temperament and overall condition.
Routine health care
Vaccinations, parasite management, and regular veterinary oversight keep our herd in top condition. We don't cut corners on animal health.
